Peaches and cream, ebony, fair, tanned, freckled, velvety, firm, soft, bronzed, delicate — there are endless words to describe the skin we live in, with these only the loveliest of them all. Our skin can be a mirror for our personality, or serve as its disguise. It is both a permeable medium of communication, and a demarcating line between us and the rest of the universe.
No wonder poets and painters, songwriters and photographers have fallen in love with this natural canvas of ours, projecting their fantasies and reveling in reverie upon such supple flesh.
