Let perfume bloom – the scent of beauty.

As long as anyone can remember flowers have been a symbol for all aspects of life: red roses stand for love, forget me nots for faithfulness. White lilies epitomise innocence, violets modesty. Even the darker sides of human existence have their floral ambassador, such as the narcissus that symbolises envy, or chrysanthemum, the flower of grief.

In her exclusive editorial for Scentury, French photographer Laura Lecat who lives in Paris and Orléans celebrates flowers simply for what they are: a source of visual and olfactive beauty and joy. Together with floral stylist Anna Davasse she created still lifes of fragrant beauty, paying loving attention to each detail. What better way to bring to you this selection of perfume masterpieces that are just that: simply beautiful? Enjoy!
